Who are our courses for?
University or college graduates of graphic design, animation, illustration, or similar fields, who want to build on the skills they have to start a career as a Motion Designer are best suited to the Motion Design Professional course.
Don’t have a degree in these areas? Don’t worry. If you’re self-taught or have done other independent courses teaching technical skills like these, Motion Design Foundation may be more for you. It all depends on your ambitions.
These courses might also be for you if you have a different professional background and are looking to change career and get into the world of motion design.
You must be over 18 years of age to participate in our courses.
Do I get any qualifications?
When it comes to qualifications, we’re working outside the system here, so there’s no formal accreditation. We’ve designed our courses to support you beyond their duration, setting you up with the tools, skills and experiences to launch and sustain your ongoing learning and career.
On our Professional course, you’ll be connected with your own network of like-minded creatives and industry professionals in motion design. You’ll have life-long access to your learning content and Created’s Alumni community for ongoing support and collaboration.
Within the Professional course you’ll gain proven experience of real industry projects with at least five new pieces of work for your portfolio in response to industry briefs, ranging from wildly conceptual to highly practical. Having developed the core professional skills, awareness and mindset that industry demands, you’ll be ready to launch your career.

What will be in my portfolio?
You will add new pieces of work to your portfolio that you’re proud to have made in response to industry briefs. These will cover everything from concept to full delivery. The briefs all change depending on the clients and range from wildly conceptual to highly practical.
How much face-time do I get with the Created Team?
The Created team will be at every live online event and industry briefing session, so you’ll have the chance to chat to them directly on those days. In between live events, please feel free to email us with any queries or concerns you have.
We’ll be there every day in the online academy platform, so you can message us with any questions there too. Also, once a month we run drop-in sessions online, so if you want to login and chat to us in person, you can. You won’t be alone, we’re on-hand to help you!
What tools or equipment will I need?
Access to a computer and the following programmes:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Cinema 4D
How much does the course cost?
£975 in full (a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your place. Final payment due 5 days before the course start date)
Or three monthly payments of £325 (total £975).
£4,250 paid in full (a non-refundable deposit of £250 is required to secure your place. Final payment due 14 days before the course start date.
Or nine monthly payments of £500 (total £4,500).

Do my course fees cover expenses?
‘Fraid not. Course fees are inclusive of VAT and other taxes (where applicable) but they don’t cover expenses (such as your travel to our ‘live’ events, software or equipment). These are up to you.
Is funding available for additional financial support?
Created courses are not eligible for government funding in the United Kingdom (including the Professional Career Development Loan).
We might be in the future though, so watch this space!
Do I get to choose my coach and mentor?
Created will assign you to your industry mentor and professional coach at the start of the Professional courses and you’ll have a chance to meet them both at the on-boarding day.
We’ve worked hard to select the best professionals to support you through your journey, but should any issues arise between mentor and participant, or coach and participant, we will do our best to reassign you, subject to availability. We’ll always do our best to help, but please understand that we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to switch.
